I've published images from my February Tanzania tour. As expected, we had plenty of nice bird encounters, including several species I had not seen on previous Africa trips.
Here are a few highlights.
You can see the full bird gallery on my website.
Lanner Falcon
Martial Eagle taking off to hunt mongoose (it failed)
Verreaux's Eagle-Owl with Black-Winged Kite
Southern Masked Weaver displaying at nest
Lilac-Breasted Roller
Southern Red Bishop
See the full Tanzania 2019 Birds gallery.

The weaver and the roller are just startling pictures! My favorites for sure. I have never seen that type of owl before either, what a great shot that is. Looks like you had good light also for these sessions.

Thanks guys! I was reminded how hard it is to have a disappointing trip to Africa. It was a lot of fun to be back.
