Re: May 17

I enjoy how one new trip report can trigger a past memory of a YNP adventure, and then I get to experience both of them through your eyes. Thank you, Rick and Yellvet.

Re: Comments Welcome: Why the lack of Interest or Participation on this website?

I truly appreciate the quality and content of these YNet forums. I am one of the many silent lurkers who do not post for several reasons, mailnly because I visit YNP less than once a year, am an amateur photographer, and no longer have a hosting service. I thank Tom for offering to help people like ...

Re: Plateau Lake - July 27, 2018

Thank you so much for posting your trip report and photographs. I don’t have the physical stamina to do much more than the portion of the hike to Mystic Falls, but thanks to your generous sharing, I now have an idea of what lies beyond. Happy trails!

Thanks for the report, Max. I checked out the rest of it on your blog and particularly liked the bull elk silhouette. I’m looking forward to reading about the rest of your trip.

Re: Yellowstone Picnic Trail

My husband and I enjoy this hike and take it every time we visit, usually mid-morning. Only once did we ascend via the side closest to the canyon, but found that approach slick with damp spring mud and steeper than the easier path that is more parallel to the road. I did not think the views of the c...

Re: Max's Full Spring 2018 Trip Report (May 25 - June 7)

Thank you, Max, for another very satisfying report. Your descriptions almost make me feel as though I were there with you trying to locate the animals you find for your clients, using a bit of luck, contact information, your own natural instinct and knowledge of the park and animals. I’m looking for...

Re: Favorite quiet spot in Yellowstone

Congrats on your twenty-fifth anniversary! Yellowstone is certainly a spectacular place to celebrate! My husband and I truly enjoy the Yellowstone Picnic Area Trail. It isn’t considered a difficult hike, and you certainly will not feel any pressure from crowds. I always have the feeling of being on ...
