Thank you so much for posting your trip report and photographs. I don’t have the physical stamina to do much more than the portion of the hike to Mystic Falls, but thanks to your generous sharing, I now have an idea of what lies beyond. Happy trails!

Only once did we ascend via the side closest to the canyon, but found that approach slick with damp spring mud and steeper than the easier path that is more parallel to the road.
