Re: Northern part of park in early Oct

thanks!

I'm just assuming I'll be sticking around in the northern area and won't chance driving over the pass, even if it's open. ---Unless it's really been unseasonably warm.

Re: Northern part of park in early Oct

Thanks! My life-goal is purchase a vacation/investment property in MT/WY and visit often, especially during the winter, but for now I'm limited to when time and travel permit---often not the ideal owling times. If you do find one in late Sept in/near Gardiner, please do let me know! I have been in s...

Northern part of park in early Oct

Hi all, Been a long while since I posted, but I've been lurking. So I'm planning to be in the park for two full days in early October. Re: YNP and GTNP 7/15-25

Forgot to mention some grim news, though perhaps this is now over: in Teton both Pilgrim and Pacific Creek roads were shut down during our visit (earlier this week) while officials attempt to track down perp in a triple murder believed to be hiding out in that area or in adjacent national forest lan...

YNP and GTNP 7/15-25

Really missed this site before and during our trip! Glad to have it back now. I didn't take detailed notes and my memory is always flaky, so this won't be a day-by-day tr. Just a partial list of sightings and comments. Most of the trip was about hiking--with our 5yo, who logged more than 30mi! That ...
