Re: Yellowstone Winter 2018 Trip Report, Days 0-17 (1/21-2/7)

Max, thanks for bringing Yellowstone into my front room! I loved your reports and the photos are SO good (that magpie photo makes me want to try to photograph those birds in flight -- it's amazing!). And congrats on the otters, too -- we saw a pair once and have never forgotten that experience. I RE...

Re: Where is everyone?

Well, I do hope this site survives and thrives again. The crash was disappointing, but like others, I'm not on Facebook (by choice) and I loved the camaraderie and wonderful information about where and when to look for wildlife and wildlife encounters (and hikes) that were posted. I planned to post ...

Wow! As I went through the shots, I thought I could comment that, well, they were all great but I REALLY liked this or that individual one. BUT ... I really liked EVERY individual one. Thanks for sharing -- those are spectacular!

Re: September 2 - 4: Hayden Valley to Beartooth

What a great report -- photos are wonderful and that video is exciting! Thanks for sharing that incredible experience and all the rest of the information, too. We're heading up in couple of days -- hope to see something even half as exciting as that! We're pretty much limited to what we can see from...

Re: Heading back in Fall

We'll be there next week for just a few days. Can't wait! Would appreciate any wildlife reports anyone can give, as our time will be limited. We're hoping that perhaps we can get back up there in early October, as well, but that remains to be seen. Hope everyone has a great time!

Re: Yellowstone Trip June/July

What a great report! I loved all the detail about "generations" of wildlife -- that really is one of the things that keeps Yellowstone forever new and intoxicating when you go back. My mom was so thrilled a few years ago when we saw Rosie's three tiny cubs and then Rosie's three year-old cubs the ne...

Re: Like to photo Birds? Here are a few of mine....

Wonderful shots! I LOVE bird photos (and taking bird photos). My traveling companions occasionally roll their eyes and just smile indulgently as I pull over because "there's a bird over in that tree -- I'm not sure what it is, but I want to take a picture and then see if I can figure out what it is!...

Re: All the Spring Trips

Wow, some great reports and super pix -- I'm working my way through all the reports, and having so much fun. I missed this type of thing SO much, so thanks for putting your blogs together. It's like being there. And you got some wonderful photos!
