John, you really outdid yourself. Your trip images are absolutely gorgeous not to mention exciting!
Thanks Paula, glad you enjoyed them! They are saying South Africa may not open up for international tourism until Feb 2021. I will be back again when they reopen.

Averaged more than 30 lions a day and leopards almost every day. Was actually lucky enough to video 3...

New account not being activated

It's been 2 weeks since I've tried to get a new account activated. Are any admins checking new accounts?

Thank you,
John

Re: Only three weeks till I head back

I will. From what I've been seeing and hearing though, it seems as though I am leaving about a week too late for the good stuff. Rik-your timing is perfect. Did an overnighter at Mammoth CG hoping to find some nice sightings for my sister visiting from out of town. 1. Lots of Harlequin ducks at Le Hardy. The upper walkway still has a lot of snow so use the lower if you don't like to slip and slide. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/47756923662_14405ae...

Death Valley and Valley of Fire

Winter camping in Yellowstone is fun but winter camping when it's 70 degrees is awesome! Our first stop on this adventure was the Valley of Fire. An incredibly beautiful Park. We had a bighorn sheep walk through our camp as we were setting up in the dark but I could not find them the next day. Geolo...
