Re: Fox vs Mule Deer Fawns

What amazingshots (and an incredible experience). Thanks for sharing. I DO feel bad about the mama deer being too nervous to come to the aid of her fawns because of the crowd. Don't get me wrong, I understand that foxes and other predators needs to eat, and if this fox could manage to take down a fa...

Re: Took 19 teenagers and lived!

Thank you for introducing a new generation to the wonders of Yellowstone and Grand Teton. They are so special, and often, young people don't get a chance to experience that wonder and specialness. Great idea to take that group of youngsters, and congrats on getting them all there and back in one pie...

Re: End of May, 2017

Great photos -- loved the red dog jumping and that coyote with the canada geese is spectacular! See, even Canada Geese can be a great photo subject if you get them at the right time (otherwise, they are a "oh, it's just Canada Geese").

Re: My Spring trip

GREAT photos! Thanks for sharing. That weasel ... in all our travels to the Parks, I've seen only one weasel for about 5-10 seconds. Always looking for them, and I love those shots. The bear in the water and the yawning fox -- wonderful! We were up there in early May and saw the carcass in Floating ...

Re: Yellowstone 5/19/17

Wow, a VERY close encounter with grizzlies -- very cool! We may have seen the same "skinny sow" and cub as we exited the park (at least, a couple of griz in the same area that look a lot the same as the ones in your pics) back in early May. Great photos! Thanks for your report.

Re: YNP and GTNP 7/15-25

Thank you! I don't think we've ever been up Spring Gulch Road, so I'll locate it and we'll try it next time we're up there -- porcupines, owls, coyotes -- can't go wrong with any of those! We're hoping to zip up there again in the next 4-6 weeks or so (are the berries ripening yet along Moose-Wilson...

Wow, what great shots. You get not just pictures of the animals, but real PERSONALITY, too. Thanks for getting this great forum back in business -- now just wish I was up there right now!

Re: YNP and GTNP 7/15-25

Thanks for the trip report. I've missed this SO much! Sounds like you saw a lot, although wish you could get that pesky great grey owl to show up! We were in Yellowstone/GT in early June and managed to see quite a bit -- did catch 399 with her cubs in GT, a moose or two and some deer, elk and grouse...

Re: Welcome back!

Yes, a hearty welcome back! We went to Yellowstone/GT in early May and June and really missed being able to keep track of what was going on before we went and after. I really appreciate what you do to provide this great chance to share with others about this great park and how hard you worked bringi...
