Re: Bathrooms Open in April

Glad you're in the Park to give us the "poop" on what bathrooms are open. Thanks, Mike.

Re: Got Some Pix for You

The whitetails are back and so is George and Greta (the mated goose couple) I've also included a pic of the north slope of the Beartooth Mtns. The Park is on the other side. Sorry it took me so long to get these pix posted. But I think that my Flickr privacy settings may have changed when I went bac...

Re: Got Some Pix for You

It still isn't working, Steve. Perhaps I need to allow the downloading of images on my Flickr account. I went back to a Flickr pro account recently and it looks like the downloading of images is prohibited... even for the image owner. That might be the reason why I can't get the BBcode. I'll check i...

Re: Bathrooms Open in April

April has always been a tough month for finding services of any kind in the Park. And the govt. shutdown most likely made the bathroom situation even worse. From what I've been reading in the local newspapers, though, the Park has had many local volunteers cleaning the bathrooms. And some of the loc...

Re: Quick in and out March 12

Thanks for the report, Guys. I bet we drove pretty close to your house when we were driving home from SoCal last week. We usually drive by Henry's Lake on Hwy 20. In fact, that snowstorm you were trying to avoid hit Nye as soon as we got home. And it's been raining, snizzling and snowing, off and on...

Re: Brief Park Update

Bless you, Mike, for taking the time to post such a great trip report. I put every word in my memory bank. Looks like the wildlife are in all the usual places. For anyone who's interested, the north slope of the Beartooth Mtns is still socked in with heavy low lying clouds and a mix of rain and snow...

Re: Only three weeks till I head back

Beautiful shots, Rik...loved 'em all! The big ram has got to be close to 10 yrs old judging from his horn segments. Looks like he's got a lot of battle scars on his face, nose and, especially, around his eyes. Was he the king pin of the herd? He's one of the most regal rams I've ever seen. Great cap...

Re: Got Some Pix for You

It still isn't working, Steve. When I R-clicked the image I selected the option "copy the image location" from the drop -down menu...then I copied the image location, then inserted the image location between the two "img" tags in my Y-Net post. Think I'll give it a rest for a few days and then will ...
