Re: Ordered a new lens for the trip

You will love it! The AF simply blows the old version out of the water! I picked a used one up locally last spring after selling my old version (the "stuffing" was falling out of the push pull zoom and it wasn't locking tightly anymore). My 7D2 was having issues so at first I wasn't impressed, but a...

Re: Getting logged out

That happens to me on my phone, but it keeps me logged in on my desktop. Knowing your schedule, I'm guessing you're on a mobile device?

Re: End of May, 2017

Great photos -- loved the red dog jumping and that coyote with the canada geese is spectacular! See, even Canada Geese can be a great photo subject if you get them at the right time (otherwise, they are a "oh, it's just Canada Geese"). Thanks, I agree! We had a whole lot of "Oh" moments the first f...

Re: End of May, 2017

Nice shots! I always joke that the geese in the park are jealous of all the other animals getting their photo taken. Looks like they are photobombing your shot of the coyote! Thanks! That was one of the few times we actually were able to watch a "hunt" transpire (I guess we're usually too impatient...

End of May, 2017

We didn't see quite as much as in previous years, but did witness some interesting behavior. I still have more to go through and upload to Flickr, but here's a few from our trip: I forgot my polarizer on last years hike to Trout Lake and had to turn around (after the steep section!) to go back for i...

Late May 2017

We decided to get a jump and go a week earlier this year since it seemed the park was going to get busy quickly, and last year we missed a lot of bear and wolf action (from what I viewed on this forum!). We went May 19-26 and were home to spend some time with our son and grandaughter Memorial day we...

Re: My Spring trip

Looks like a successful trip to me! Great work!

We must have arrived right after you (May 19-26). Didn't have your success, but totally enjoyed our time in any case!
Sooo tempted to head back this fall for the elk rut, enjoy your trip!
