Holy crap! How did you get that last GGO image? Did you have the shutter speed set up especially to get him shaking his head like that or did you have a slow speed for some other reason and just got lucky?
Just got lucky with a slower shutter speed. :D

Had a nice warmer weekend in the Park. Lots of wolves up high on the ridges. Otters in the river just before Lamar but no parking to try and get pictures.. About half a dozen groups of bison hunters on the old Yellowstone Road. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4797/25897559137_fa083e4f21_c.jpg YNP1-93...

I was in the Park this weekend and heard of one sighting in Swan Flats and one in Pelican Creek. Both unconfirmed.

Re: Where is everyone?

We need to kick start this forum again! It was always the best resource for current news coming out of the Park and I always looked forward to the TR's and images everyone shared. Don't let a hacker kill this wonderful site.

My last trip was a bit slow, the usual bison, 5 coyotes and some bighorns at the Picnic area. Faraway wolves at Blacktail Plateau. Hopefully will be down camping this weekend. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4694/39269024204_576fcb92b6_c.jpg YNP 1-9166 by john morris , on Flickr https://farm5.staticf...

Thanks for sharing your trip! I've been wanting to drag the camper down to Mammoth for a weekend, hopefully soon.

Re: Kruger Park, South Africa 2017

Thanks Max! The wild dog sightings were just incredible on these last two trips. In the past it seemed I was quite lucky just to get a glimpse of the dogs and there were not that many packs. Especially on my last trip many of the camps had dog sightings almost every day. My best sighting was 5 adult...
