Given how irresponsible those state governments have been with respect to wildlife conservation, I think it's a good thing.

I saw a lone wolf in that area when I first entered the park on May 19th. I'd heard reports about the Wapitis being in the area the day before, the day the park opened. I never saw more than 7 of them in the Hayden, so it might have been a few others hanging out there.

Anyone know if the campgrounds ( Tower Falls ) in particular are open yet, or opening soon? Can't find any clear info online. Kevin. Tower Falls campground won't be open this year or next because the road is closed.
