A few Raptors

A few raptor shots. Technically, only the eagle and vulture images are from within Yellowstone park boundaries. The other images are from just a little outside the park. Feel free to leave comments. All comments welcome. Patiently waiting https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52156445028_a076608910_h....

Trust me, the male that killed him was 4 times as big as this little guy was. No way was it a fair fight. But i...

Wow, that sounds terrible. Glad I don't have a vacation coming up soon.

Re: Sub-adult male grizzly - April 2022

... BTW, dude, this isn't Facebook...there are like a dozen people reading this forum... Yeah, kind of sad how few people are still around. I think there are still a lot of visitors/guests, but not too many posting members anymore. ... I doubt you have to give us a PSA about how far away you were. ...

He was such a beautiful and well-mannered bear that brought smiles and joy to many park visitors in the early Spring of 2022. He was often found digging in the ground in the northwest side of the park near Obsid...

Fox images from April 2022 (some graphic)

A few fox images from our trip in late April 2022. [ WARNING: Some images are graphic. Viewer discretion advised. ] Please feel free to leave comments. All comments welcome. All images are the same fox. It has a lot of gray hairs on it's muzzle, so it must be a senior citizen (like me). :D The forum...

Re: Bison Butting Heads

Wow! Very cool! Great job Rick ! I'm like Bill though ... why would they be displaying this behavior in May unless these are just two teenagers messing with each other.

Anyway, great pics!
