Re: Radio Scanner Frequencies

You are correct, you should only set squelch tones to restrict hearing other traffic or to transmit to a repeater. If you want to transmit, you can, licence free on MURS or FRS: 151.820 MHz to 154.600 MHz @2w 462.5625 to 462.7125 and 462.5500 to 462.7250 @ 2w and 467.5625 to 467.7125 @ 0.5w Transmitti...

Re: April 17th Through April 29th

I almost forgot to mention the birds,I think that the weather kept bird sightings down,my friend wanted to see swans but there were none to be found,Swan Lake was still frozen over and about a foot of snow, only made one trip down to the Madison and did not see any there also. I did take note of the ...

April 17th Through April 29th

As like last year,I was tasked with bringing a group of people that had never been to the park,so much of the time was spent showing them all the "sights" that everyone should experience. There was so much going on I kind of lost track of wildlife sightings but I will try my best to give you a more o...

Is there an easy way to reset your account that I didn't find? This could be one thing keeping people from posting.
If you use Chrome browser and autofill is active you can go to "settings/autofill/passwords" and click on the eye icon and there will be your password, that easy.

Re: Brief Park Update

Monday was a beautiful day with clear skies and temps 60 degrees, not much in the way of wildlife,Lamar Valley still empty on the river bottom as grazers sticking to the hillsides and Little America.Lots of elk moving in from Paradise Valley and more deer than I think I have ever seen in the park.To...
