Re: Report from April 16 and 22 Wolves!!!

How very cool! Thanks so much for sharing the photos and experience. Makes me want to get there soooo much. Since I can't right now, thanks for letting me get there through your experiences.

Re: Bill's Backyard Birds

How absolutely cool! With each photo, I kept saying to myself, "Well, THIS is my favorite!" Then came the next one, and IT was my favorite, too! I love the grosbeaks, as we saw our first grosbeak (a blue grosbeak) a year or two ago in Ouray -- didn't know what it was but figured it out ourselves and...

Re: Winter in the Smokies

What gorgeous photos! I spent a day and a half in the Smokies a couple of years ago and saw that elk herd, too -- not much else by way of animals, but some beautiful scenery (was traveling with folks who weren't into getting up early to get to animal spots when viewing is likely to be best) and woul...

Re: Wolverine spotted in Yellowstone- check out this link

Great video -- so cool to watch, it looks like it just comes out of nowhere. Always on the bucket list, of course, but we never really expect to see one. However, always on the lookout! :)

Nice to know there are still wolverines in Yellowstone.

Re: September / October Conditions

My sister and I have been there many times in September and early-to-mid October. I LOVE October, as it seems to be less crowded and we've seen quite a few moose and elk and even sometimes bears. Mountain sheep are also often visible. And it's really beautiful. But September is a good time, too, and...

Re: Winter Trip Dec. 8 & 9

What a fun trip! Nice you got to see some wolves AND those bighorns were cool. Shame on people for putting out dogfood for the fox.

Thanks for sharing and a Merry Christmas to all!

Re: Just a Fun Day in the Park Oct. 31

What a fun report. This highlights one of the greatest things about the Park -- just BEING THERE. Sometimes there are lots of animals, sometimes not so many, but always, the Park comes through with a wonderful experience. Wow for that grizzly track! Looks like it must have been a pretty big guy! Gla...

Re: Snow, snow, 610, Yellowstone and GT hikes Oct 17-23

Fun photos! Thanks for sharing. Loved the pine grosbeak -- I've never seen one. Snow is sure a beautiful bear, and fun to see 610 and the cubs -- they look healthy! Sorry to hear about the "lost" report -- that is so discouraging, but appreciate you giving us a report with photos anyway. Looking for...

Re: Yellowstone/GT Oct. 1-6

Thanks Karen and Bill. It WAS a great trip, and we were so excited to finally get a glimpse of 399 and her famous quads. Really hoping she makes it through the winter and is able to mother the four through the next summer. And, of course, hope she continues on. Just such a special bear. And we're st...
