Nice report, Rick! Great photos as usual, and I'm jealous of the Pika shots. I looked for them a couple of times with no success (even tried Hellroaring as you'd suggested). Maybe next time.
That one was from Hellroaring. I've actually never seen a pika anywhere else.

That wolf shot is awesome. Really like the fox, too.

Just type img in brackets before before the pic, then [/img] after.

Beautiful shots of the grizzlies. Are you not able to display them?

The ravens were nosing around his puke. He puked several times. I was using a 600mm f4 with a 1.4X TC.

Mollie yearling in the Lamar

This Mollie yearling made the mistake of trying to sniff around a Junction Butte carcass in the Lamar and they beat the crap out of him. He lived, but he was hurting for a while. http://www.pbase.com/rikwriter/image/165534150.jpg http://www.pbase.com/rikwriter/image/165534151.jpg http://www.pbase.co...

Any word on the Mammoth Inn remodel?

Anyone heard when they're going to be done with the remodel of the Mammoth Hot Springs hotel?

Outstanding photos, Rik! Mind if I ask what camera and lens you're using these days?
This trip I was using a Canon 7DII, 1DIV, Canon 600mm f4 V1 and 100-400 V1 and a 1.4X TC VII.
