Re: May 11 and 12

Well, once again, it looks like I'm going to miss you while you're in the Park, Rick. Got lots on our plate right now, so we aren't going to go to the Park until mid June. Hope you have a great time and get lots of terrific photo ops. Looking forward to your trip report and pix. :)

Re: May 11 and 12

Thanks for the posts, guys. Looks like you really hit the jackpot spotting bears. Kind of reminds me of the year that I logged 52 different bear sightings over a two-week period in June. :o Hope your luck continues. It's a glorious morning near Nye...absolutely beautiful. Mayflies are all over our h...

Re: April 17th Through April 29th

Wonderful report and pix, Mike! Sorry to hear about the damage to your vehicle and about your broken car key. Been there myself a time or two. That's why I now keep an extra car and trailer key on a leather shoe lace lanyard that I wear around my neck whenever I'm in the Park. I never take it off. Y...

Wonderful pix, as always, John! Looks like you had a great trip...good company and photo ops and steaks to boot. It doesn't get any better than that! Thanks for sharing your pix and trip report. :)

Re: Mammoth CG and RVs

Mike, were you able to get a site at Mammoth for your April trip or did you have to go elsewhere?

Re: Good News On Soda Butte Creek Cleanup

That's great news about Soda Butte, Mike. It's one of my most favorite fly fishing streams in the Park. Good to hear that it's on the road to recovery. As to the halt of mining in the Paradise Valley, I sent an email not long ago to Jon Tester (our senator) to thank him for introducing and pushing t...

Re: Mammoth CG and RVs

Mike, I think you and all the folks who usually bring a trailer to the Park may want to read this. The policy is posted at the Park's website. Here's the link to the site and vehicle length limit policy. It's posted on the campground details page and says, "Sizes are for total length of vehicle and ...

BRAVO, Tim! What a fantastic report! And your pix are exceptional... wonderful storytellers. I felt like I was tagging along, on your entire trip. Glad you had a chance to share the magic of Yellowstone with your daughter. For her, it will be more than just a memory....it will be a Yellowstone keeps...

Re: Got Some Pix for You

The whitetails are back and so is George and Greta (the mated goose couple) I've also included a pic of the north slope of the Beartooth Mtns. The Park is on the other side. Sorry it took me so long to get these pix posted. But I think that my Flickr privacy settings may have changed when I went bac...
