Re: Overturned Tanker Spills Gas and Closes Road
So sorry to hear about this -- a double tanker really has no place in Yellowstone! Do you know if the road has been reopened? We are actually going to be in Grand Teton for just a couple of days and wondered if it would be worthwhile to try to get up into Hayden for an hour or two (simply don't have...

Re: Wolf at Sunrise Friday, August 21
Cooooollll! Loved the wolf on the hill, and the shot with the sun, too, is just amazing.
So glad you decided to take that long drive after an even longer drive, AND thanks so much for sharing it!

Re: Wolves in New Location June 28
What a great report and wonderful photos! Thanks so much. We aren't going to be able to get back up there until the end of September/first part of October, so don't know if there'll be much to see once we get there, so I appreciate your reports even more! It's almost like being there. Thanks for the...

Re: 7/10-7/12/2020
We've seen griz both spring and fall along Two Ocean Lake road, but it isn't an all-the-time thing -- just occasionally. But usually see something interesting along there -- black and griz bears, saw a ruffed grouse displaying once, moose, woodpeckers, hawks, deer, elk. So definitely give it a go wh...

Re: Huge fire in Gardiner
I feel so badly about this -- we stay in Gardiner all the time. Any update on what the businesses plan -- will they rebuild (trying to retain the flavor of the old buildings) or can they not afford to (no mention in the stories if they had any insurance)? It's just so very sad. But very glad no live...

Re: Grizzlies at Mammoth June 18
Sounds like there's lots of animal activity and lots of people to watch them! Thanks for your report -- always enjoy hearing about things up there. Sounds like we got just the first few days of the elk calves, and now the bears have discovered them. I always feel so sorry for the moms and the calves...
