Thanks for report and photos! Sounds (and looks) like you had a really cool trip. We're hoping to get up to Yellowstone in January some time to look around. All these reports make me want to do it sooner!

What great photos! And what a great trip. Loved all the photos, but the owl shots were especially great, and the bear in the den was amazing. Again, thanks for sharing!

Re: Great Grey Owl and Neighborhood Fox

VERY cool! That great grey owl is amazing! Been looking for one all year so I'm so glad to see one through your photos. And the fox is gorgeous. If the adult is even better, it must be really stunning! Thanks for sharing.

Re: GTNP/YNP early October 1-4 trip

Thanks for the report and the photos -- some really beautiful landscape shots. Too bad about the minimal animals sightings, but sometimes that's the way it is. We had a chance to drive through part of Yellowstone (just in the east entrance, a little into Hayden, then down to Jackson through Grand Te...

Re: Just a quick trip

We did have a great trip, thanks! I'm happy my niece saw and got a photo of a pica and hope it will happen for us soon! And yes, the bear on that highway was fun -- and surprising! Seedskadee is a lot of fun -- we really enjoy it and have seen lots of fun things there -- the porky on the ground was ...

Just a quick trip

My sis and niece and I had a quick 4-day trip to Camas, Market Lake, Yellowstone, Grand Teton and Seedskadee in mid-September (13-16). Four different hotels, five different parks -- and lots of fun! Thanks to those who gave me some tips on where things might be seen -- we saw quite a bit considering...

Re: July 19 Wolf, Badger, and Summer Update

We're going the have a day or so in Yellowstone next week. Any idea of where there has been some good animal activity? I understand it's still been really busy up there, but we're hoping to be able to get around a bit for the day. If anyone has any info that might give us an idea of where to spend o...

Wondered if you ever heard anything about this horse? I'm still wondering what happened.
