The grizzly family was near Lake Corrals.

I haven't been there since February, but I have heard there's been a LOT of snow in the park. Not sure what the roads are like. They plow them, of course, but there could still be ice. Someone spotted the black bear and cubs peeking out of their den near Petrified Tree.

Do you if Yankee Jim was or is damaged ? maybe uphill toward Jardine might be best bet if I could nab a spot,might be crowded at these spots if Mammoth doesn't open or opens late.The thought of driving one thousand miles and have to scramble for a spot is making me second guess this trip.
