Re: Suggestions for winter trip
Hi Dorothy, So glad you may get to go out to the park this January. I have never done the winter snow coach thing so I can't help you there. I have been in the park several times in winter and it was beautiful, as I mentioned in my recent post. I was there once in January a couple years ago and it w...

Re: Drive Through December 12
Yes, I would have had mixed emotions seeing one that was just collared. I would love to see one in the wild, but do they really need to collar them?

Drive Through December 12
We decided to make a quick trip to our cabin in Idaho to shovel snow off our deck and around our chimney on the roof. There was about a foot of snow so it wasn't too bad but we like to keep the weight off as much as possible (the deck and us ). On the way in on Tuesday we drove through the Teto...

Re: Quick GT trip
We are planning to head out Monday, go through the Tetons down to Jackson Hole and over Teton Pass into Idaho. The forecast is for heavy snow on Sunday so we may have to adjust our route. We plan to drive up to Gardiner on Tuesday and into the park on Wednesday before heading back to Colorado. So it...

Great choices, Max. I love the wolves, but the bison is truly iconic Yellowstone. How can we purchase the calander?

Re: Quick GT trip
Dorothy, sounds like so much fun!!! Our last trip we only saw one moose and it was in the Tetons on our last day on the way out. Sounds like you really hit the jackpot! Karen and I enjoy seeing the Kingfishers as well. They are usually very wary and hard to get close for a picture. So if you got any...
