I enjoyed your animals! Was your fox the one from the Picnic Area? The Picnic fox ran across the road and came within six feet of me--way too close for MY comfort!

That particular fox was from Floating Island Lake. I don't think the Picnic Area fox will hurt anyone though.

If I could ever figure out the photo posting....I have several shots of the picnic area fox hunting a couple of mule deer calves it found in the sage. Was one of the most fascinating things we have ever witnessed in YNP. Regrettably, for the calves, the fox got one.

I need to figure out this posting of pictures process. Got a couple showing the stand-off and one from later in the day showing the fox with a fawn hind quarter.

I think we saw the Harlequins on the same rock two years ago.
Beautiful Ducks...and very hard working!
