We couldn't stay long because we have stuff going on at the new house tomorrow, but we thought we should go through the East Entrance once from our side before they close it. Stayed overnight in Gardiner then went back the long way because there was snow in the Sylvan Pass.
Didn't see any bears, wolves or coyotes. Saw a fox outside the park. Saw lots of bison, elk, deer, pronghorn and bighorns.
But our dogs got to see Yellowstone for the first time!

Glad you were able to get into the park before the entrances close. Can you come through Cooke City before Chief Joseph HWY gets snowed in? So how did the dogs react to the bison?
Looking forward to your photos in the future.

And yes, we could have gone through Cooke City, but I didn't think of it.

Really neat that you are now so close to the park! Thanks for the report and the photos. Hope you really enjoy this exciting location (and your new home)!
