Went out to the Lamar in the morning. Got a couple moose near Pebble Creek (and again in the afternoon.)
Also saw a golden eagle but didn't get a shot.
Then I went to Tower and got Rosie and her 3 yearlings at Calcite Springs. There were two other 2 year old subadults in the clearing and the cubs went up a tree while Rosie sent the other two scurrying away.
Also saw a cinnamon sow with cub behind the Tower parking lot but too far away for pics.
Nothing much else because it started raining.

Good job Rick! Sounds like things are going well.

Re: Weather,

Starting Friday this week, weather is looking pretty sketchy for the next seven days. Next week could be challenging.

Good Luck!

Looks like everyone is having "beary" good luck in the Park right now. Keep your trip reports and pix coming....they're great! Many thanks to everyone for taking the time to share your sightings. Next week is looking fairly rainy but that shouldn't affect the wildlife. So enjoy the magic of Yellowstone while you can. Your trip will be over soon enough. And remember. A rainy day in the Park is always better than being stuck at home doing mundane house chores or watching the snow falling down out the window. :)
