Located on the northern shore of Yellowstone Lake, Lake Yellowstone Hotel was historically the finest hotel in the Park. Today, the yellow building’s white columns front the lake, offering a spectacular view of the lake and surroundings mountains.
The Lake Yellowstone Hotel Dining Room remains the finest in the Park, a casually elegant atmosphere with a menu that is “creative and upscale,” including one-of-a-kind dishes of fresh fish, wild game and more.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. Breakfast includes a buffet as well as singular menu items. Choices include bacon, eggs, sausage, fruit, pastries and more.

This is an a la carte “upscale” experience, so there is no fixed buffet price.
Breakfast/Lunch: Lighter fare (eggs benedict, sandwiches) typically ranges from $15–$25.
Dinner Entrées: Typically $30–$50.
Signature dishes: Bison Tenderloin, Wild-Caught Trout, and Elk chops.
The Dining Rooms opens in late May and closes in late September.

Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
